There are now 51 of these high-speed trains in the nation after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 10 new Vande Bharat Express trains on Tuesday. By operating on multiple routes around the country, the recently deployed trains will improve rail transport’s efficiency and connection.
Vande Bharat Network’s Development
Travelers between Lucknow and Dehradun, Patna and Lucknow, New Jalpaiguri and Patna, Puri and Visakhapatnam, Kalaburagi and Bengaluru, Ranchi and Varanasi, Khajuraho and Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, and Mysore and Chennai can find what they need on the ten new Vande Bharat Express routes. Remarkably, the second round of trains will run on the routes connecting Mysore, Chennai, and Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Ahmedabad, respectively.
Expansion of Current Pathways
The Railway Ministry has expanded the itinerary of four of the current Vande Bharat Express trains in addition to adding new ones. The Vande Bharat between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar now reaches Dwarka, the train between Ajmer and Delhi reaches Chandigarh, the train between Gorakhpur and Lucknow reaches Prayagraj, and the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat now links to Mangaluru.
