Celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary, veteran Bollywood stars Dharmendra and Hema Malini received a heartfelt tribute from their daughter, Esha Deol, hailing them as the “Best Parents.”
Sharing a poignant moment captured in a snapshot on Instagram, Esha deol showcased the enduring love between her parents. The image portrays Hema Malini leaning tenderly on Dharmendra’s shoulder, emanating affection and warmth. Hema, adorned in a floral-printed attire, exudes elegance, while Dharmendra radiates charm in a green-colored shirt.
In her caption, Esha deol expressed her adoration and love for her “papa & mamma,” conveying her heartfelt wishes on their special day.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini tied the knot in 1980 and are blessed with two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Embracing a blended family, Hema, Dharmendra’s second wife, shares two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and two daughters from his previous marriage to Prakash Kaur.
The love story of Dharmendra and Hema Malini blossomed on the sets of the 1970 film “Tum Haseen Main Jawan,” despite Dharmendra’s marital status with four children. Their enduring bond culminated in their union in 1980.
While Dharmendra was last seen in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, he is set to feature in Sriram Raghavan’s “Ikkis.”
Meanwhile, amidst her political endeavors in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Hema Malini, contesting from Mathura on a BJP ticket, remains dedicated to her electoral duties. Recently, Esha and Ahana joined their mother in campaigning for her re-election bid in Mathura, expressing confidence in her victory and acknowledging the region’s development initiatives.
With residents showing overwhelming support for Hema Malini’s candidacy, voting in Mathura’s Phase 2 took place on April 26.
