Parineeti Chopra recently opened up about her early struggles in Bollywood, shedding light on the financial challenges she encountered, particularly when it came to affording costly fitness plans. During an episode of the podcast Figuring Out With Raj Shamani, she candidly discussed the pressures of the industry and the judgment she faced due to her financial constraints.

Coming from a middle-class background, Parineeti recalled the advice she received to hire a personal fitness trainer and a nutritionist, each costing around ₹2 lakh per month. However, with her modest earnings, such expenses were out of her reach. She expressed feeling out of place in the glamorous world of Bollywood, where many of her peers had access to lavish amenities.

Despite the pressures, Parineeti remained steadfast, unwilling to jeopardize her financial stability for the sake of appearances. She recounted an incident where a fellow actor suggested that if she couldn’t afford these expenses, she shouldn’t pursue a career in the industry—a sentiment she vehemently disagreed with.

Additionally, Parineeti shared how she couldn’t afford the wardrobe recommendations made by others, underscoring the financial disparity she faced early in her career. It wasn’t until after starring in several films that she could enjoy the perks of success, such as flying business class and indulging in luxury purchases.

Parineeti’s story serves as a poignant reminder of the hurdles many encounter on the path to realizing their dreams. It highlights the importance of resilience and staying true to oneself amidst adversity in the pursuit of success.
