A total of 14 Indian cricketers have achieved the remarkable feat of playing 100 Test matches for the country. Among them are renowned names such as Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Dilip Vengsarkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid.
Sachin Heads the Group
During his successful 24-year international cricket career, Sachin Tendulkar played an amazing 200 Test matches, holding the record for the most Test performances for Team India. Rahul Dravid (163), VVS Laxman (134), Anil Kumble (132), Kapil Dev (131), and Sunil Gavaskar (125) round up the top five, closely trailing him. It’s interesting to note that 90 Test matches were played by the previous Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was renowned for his cool-headed leadership.
