Popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish Yadav, has been charged with assaulting and threatening fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, according to police reports.

The altercation occurred in Gurugram, where Elvish Yadav and his followers allegedly attacked Sagar Thakur. A video of the incident was shared by Thakur on social media.

Thakur later took to his official social media handle to express his distress, stating, “I was threatened with my life. I was alone, but Elvish Yadav brought along many people. I will upload the full video in the morning to show what happened. We also have recordings. I am fine except for a wound on my lip. He came after fighting with 8 people.”

Reportedly, the conflict arose when Thakur mocked Elvish Yadav’s friendship with Munawar Faruqui, which did not sit well with Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, Yadav has yet to address the issue.

Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur, has reported the incident to the police, saying, I, Maxtern, would like to report a serious incident of abuse and threats to my life committed by Elvish Yadav, which requires immediate legal action.

Thakur continued, In the last few months, Elvish fan pages spread hate and propaganda, causing me distress, and I sought counseling from an NGO. When Elvish Yadav asked me to meet, I thought it was for a verbal discussion. However, when he arrived at the location with 8–10 intoxicated individuals, they began beating me and using abusive language.

Based on the complaint, a case under sections 147, 149, 323, and 506 of the IPC has been registered against Elvish Yadav at Gurugram’s Sector-53 Police Station.
