Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a 10-day journey across 12 states and union territories, attending 29 inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Kicking off his itinerary in Telangana, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development projects in the power, rail, and road sectors, amounting to over ₹62,000 crore. The public event in Adilabad witnessed his participation followed by an address to the gathering.

Later today, PM Modi is scheduled to visit the Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, where he will deliver another public address. Subsequently, he will head to Chennai to attend a public meeting before departing for Hyderabad.

PM Modi shared insights into his forthcoming visits, stating, “Over the next two days, I will be attending various programmes in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and West Bengal. The development projects slated for inauguration span diverse sectors and promise to bring about transformative changes in many lives.”

In anticipation of the prime minister’s visit to Chennai, a comprehensive five-tier security arrangement has been put in place, with over 15,000 police personnel, including officers, deployed to ensure his safety and security throughout the duration of the event.
